An Iraqi politician loyal to the Shia cleric Moqtada al-Sadr has been seriously injured in a roadside bomb blast in Baghdad.
Police said the bomb had been placed on a motorcycle and exploded as Saleh al-Ogaili drove past.
The MP was wounded in the head and was in intensive care, his bodyguard said.
Police said two people had been killed in the blast, which took place in the Habibiyah district, near the Sadr movement's stronghold of Sadr City.
