Latest Poland-US Talks Could See Missile-Shield Breakthrough ... called for stricter gun laws following Tuesday's school shooting in Kauhajoki which left 11 people dead, including the gunman.
Speaking during a visit to the small western town, Vanhanen said it was time to consider restricting access to guns and raising the minimum age for gun owners from 15 to 18. He also said an inquiry had been opened into why police failed to prevent Tuesday's shooting even though they had questioned the 22 year-old attacker a day before.
