One soliders has been killed in a suspected ETA car bomb attack outside a military academy in the town of Santona in Spain's northern Cantabria region.
An anonymous caller made a telephone warning 35 minutes ahead of the explosion. The Basque separatist group ETA claimed responsibility for the blast. Meanwhile ten people were injured on Sunday after suspected Basque separatists threw petrol bombs at a police station in Ondarroa in northeast Spain before detonating a car bomb, which injured 10 people.
