Spain defeats Italy in penaly shoot-out ... in Kunar occurred early Thursday just hours after a soldier of NATO's International Security Assistance Force died in a separate attack in another area of the province which borders Pakistan. Thursday's ambush came a day after four US soldiers and an Afghan national were killed in a roadside bomb on a highway in a southeastern area. At least 211 international soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan this year alone, most of them in insurgent attacks.
