It was Tsvangirai's second police detention this week and comes ahead of Zimbabwe's presidential run-off election on June 27. An MDC spokesman said police had instructed Tsvangirai to go back to Bulawayo, instead of proceeding with his election campaign. Tsvangirai's campaign to unseat President Robert Mugabe has been met with violence and intimidation from government forces.
