World governments also agreed to take urgent action to prevent soaring food prices from pushing millions of people into hunger. Extra investment in agriculture production was also pledged. But the declaration was preceded by hours of contentious negotiating at the Food and Agriculture Organisation headquarters. Argentina says it's unhappy over the language about trade barriers.
