Number 13 seed Dinara Safina from Russia easily beat her compatriot, Svetlana Kuznetsova, in two sets. In the other semi, an all-Serb affair, Ana Ivanovic won in three sets over Jelena Jankovic. The final is to be played on Saturday in Paris.
