Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has rejected allegations that Tehran was working to make a nuclear weapon. Speaking on national television, Khamenei repeated that Iran's nuclear programme was intended solely for peaceful energy purposes. He said that no wise nation would be interested in making nuclear bombs, calling them useless.
