Two suicide bombers have killed at least 35 people and wounded more than 65 in the Iraqi town of Balad Rus north of Baghdad.
One female attacker reportedly detonated an explosives device near the town's hospital in the Dijala province. A second male attacker later detonated a device hidden in a car as helpers and onlookers approached the scene. Several al-Qaeda terrorist cells are suspected in the province.
