Roadside bombs have struck two civilian vehicles in Afghanistan's southern Kandahar province, killing eight civilians and wounding six others.
The bombs had been set on a road frequently used by NATO and Afghan troops. The latest killings came a day after a blast targeting a NATO patrol south of Kabul killed a NATO soldier and wounded four others. The military alliance has not given the identity or the nationalities of the troops attacked in Logar province.
