Labour and Social Affairs Minister Petr Necas (ODS) said the government will also analyse the written justification by the Constitutional Court.
He said the non-payment of sickness benefits on the first three days resulted in a 29 percent decrease in sickness rate in the first three months of the year.
Government politicians said previously they do not agree with the Constitutional Court's verdict from Wednesday, and said similar practice exists in other EU countries as well.
The opposition and trade unions, on the contrary, praise the verdict, saying it will eliminate discrimination against employees.
They criticised the government for dealing with a problem caused by a group of people by punishing all.
